Complete Undercarriages
Not every overhaul requires a full undercarriage replacement, as parts wear at different rates. A partial overhaul—typically sprockets, track links, and bolts & nuts—can be a cost-effective option, depending on roller condition. However, worn rollers accelerate wear on track links and sprockets, reducing lifespan. For durability, VemaTrack recommends replacing rollers along with sprockets and track links.
A complete undercarriage also includes front wheels, tensioning units, chain guides, and track shoes, which generally last longer. These should be inspected during disassembly to determine if replacement is needed.
